This year we have been incredibly lucky to be working in partnership with Investigo. A leading recruitment specialist since 2003, Investigo chose us as their Charity of the Year for 2022, and what an incredible journey it has been so far!
Fundraising for LIFEbeat
Through multiple streams and events throughout the year, Investigo employees go the extra mile to raise funds for the chosen charity of the year. So far this has included amongst other things GiveAll payroll giving, company social events and incredible challenges such as a tough mudder, the Big Investigo Cycle to Amsterdam, the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, and the first day of an ambitious Golf Tournament!
Investigo initially set their fundraising target for LIFEbeat before the summer at £20k, which they had already smashed by the beginning of July! They are now up to £25,575 thanks to their amazing hard work and all these challenge events to support young people. Thank you to each and every one of their staff members for their commitment and passion. Funds raised will support young people to participate in our transformational camp this August
Investigo & LIFEbeat mentoring programme
A key element of Investigo charity partnerships is to allow their employees to get directly involved with the work of the charity they are supporting. Over the past couple of months, we have worked together to pilot a mentoring scheme that pairs Investigo volunteers with some of our graduating young people aged 18 and over.
10 young people have been supported by Investigo staff in their mentoring journey this summer, and on Wednesday we brought everyone together to celebrate the achievements of the programme so far at the Investigo offices in The City. This was a great opportunity for mentors and mentees to connect in person, wrap up the mentoring journey, and share their feedback on the scheme. Thanks and well done to all involved!
I really think this is the start of something quite special and our hope is to continue this as an annual volunteering partnership between LIFEbeat and Investigo

We will be running another round of the mentoring programme in the autumn after our summer camps, and we cannot wait to get these new mentoring pairs working together.
